You can return the goods without stating reasons within two weeks simply by returning the goods. The time limit begins after receipt of this notification in writing (e.g. as letter, fax, e-mail), but not before receipt of goods by the recipient (in the case of recurring deliveries of similar goods, not before receipt of the first partial delivery) and also not before fulfillment of our information obligations pursuant to section 312c (2) German Civil Code (bürgerliches Gesetzbuch – BGB) in conjunction with section 1 (1) and (4) BGB InfoV.
You can only claim your wish to return in writing if the goods cannot be shipped as a parcel (e.g. bulky goods or goods over 20 kg). To comply with the two-week deadline, the sending of goods or a letter expressing your wish to return is sufficient. In any case, the return will be at our cost and risk. All goods manufactured according to customer specifications or clearly tailored to personal needs (e.g. shirts with individual flocking) are excluded from the right of return.
Consequences of return
In the event of a valid return, both counterparties must return the goods or payment and the potentially received benefits (e.g. usage benefits) to their original holder. If the goods are impaired, compensation may be claimed. This does not apply if the impairment was due solely to the inspection of the goods – as could have also taken place in a shop. Moreover, you can avoid the requirement for compensation from impairment if you do not use the goods as if you owned them or avoid everything which would reduce the value of the goods. Obligations to reimburse payments must be fulfilled within 30 days. The time limit begins for you with the dispatch of the goods or the request for return, and for us upon receipt. |
